The Supreme Court also ordered transfer of all FIRs to New Delhi and said that the High Court was an efficient constitutional body to deal with requests for quashing them. The bench was headed by Justice Surya Kant and Justice JB Pardiwala. During the hearing, senior advocate Maninder Singh apprised the court that despite the stay during the previous hearing, Sharma had received summons from West Bengal and fresh FIR was registered against him in the state. He requested that the court club all the FIRs in Delhi.
