  Haryana : Pan-India cyber fraud racket exposed by Haryana Police which involved 28,000 people who have been cheated of Rs 100 crores. Police arrested 65 people along with 166 fake Aadhar cards, five PAN cards, 128 ATM cards, 66 mobile phones, 99 SIMs, five POS machines and three laptops. Russia Facebook Ban: Facebook limited access to accounts linked to the Russian government after Russia's attack on Ukraine. Russia  on Friday announced a '  partial  ban' on  Facebook . This has been done by Moscow  because the social media company had limited access to several Russian government-backed accounts  after the attack on Ukraine.  Russian state communications agency Roskomnadzor said on Friday it called on Facebook to lift restrictions imposed on Thursday on state news agency RIA Novosti, state TV channel Zvezda and pro-Kremlin news sites Lenta.Ru and Gazeta.Ru. The agency said Facebook has not reinstated the media outlets.   New Delhi:  The Delhi High Court on Monday issued a notice to microblogging social media platform Twitter for not following the new information technology (IT) rules. A bench comprising Justice Rekha Palli gave Twitter three weeks to respond and set the matter for further hearing on July 6. The court was hearing a petition filed by advocate Amit Acharya, who accused Twitter of not following the Information Technology (Intermediate Guidelines and Code of Digital Conduct) Rule 2021, which came into force on May 25. The new guidelines require social media companies such as Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook and Google to regulate their content, appoint complaint officers who will be responsible for complaints, and adopt measures such as the detection of personal messages and voluntary user verification.
