Gujarat firm's troubles escalate after 2 workers die in sewage manhole Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government on Wednesday ordered registration of an FIR against a Gujarat-based private firm after two employees died in a sewage manhole. This firm was given the contract for the work of a sewage manhole here. An investigation report by the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) states that the incident took place due to the lack of safety standards by the construction company. The BMC had submitted its investigation report to the State Development Department late on Tuesday night. Following this, state Urban Development Minister Bhupendra Singh has ordered registration of an FIR against officials of a Gujarat-based private construction firm following the death of two of his employees, including a minor, on Wednesday.
