Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the statue of 11th century Vaishnava saint Sri Ramanujacharya near Hyderabad on Saturday. The Prime Minister's visit to Hyderabad was announced last month. Chinna Jeyar Swami of Sri Ramanujacharya Ashram had met PM Modi in September last year and urged him to visit the city. According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the inauguration will take place at 5 pm. The Prime Minister will also visit the International Crop Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) campus in Patancheru and begin its 50th anniversary celebrations.
