The yatra is being undertaken through two main routes - Pahalgam and Baltal, in which devotees reach the cave through difficult mountain paths. Amarnath Yatra 2025 has started from Thursday and on the very first day,  12,348 devotees  had darshan of ice Shivling in the holy cave. On this auspicious occasion, 9,181 men, 2,223 women, 99 children, 122 sadhus, 7 sadhvis, 8 transgender devotees and 708 security personnel were present.
