Following recent violent protests demanding full statehood for Ladakh and inclusion in the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution, the Leh Apex Body (LAB) has decided to boycott talks with the central government. The organization has demanded a judicial inquiry into the deaths of four youths in security force firing during the September 24 protests. Around 90 others were injured during the violent protests.
