Delhi-NCR International Airport flooded amid heavy rains, passengers stranded

Following the rain in Delhi-NCR, images of waterlogging have emerged in several areas. Parts of the international airport were also flooded. Rain that began in the afternoon on Friday, September 4th, in the national capital, Delhi, caused waterlogging outside the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Passengers were distressed during this time. Dark clouds had been hovering over the NCR since morning, and Delhi is experiencing heavy rain. The Meteorological Department had predicted rain in the NCR today. The airport was so flooded that the arrivals section had to be closed for a while. Passengers who were leaving faced difficulties. The IMD has predicted isolated extremely heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand from August 10 to August 13 and has issued orange alert for several districts in the state.
