A sensation erupted on Tuesday at the new MLA residence complex in Lucknow's Hazratganj area when Nanakdin Bhurji, state general secretary of the BJP's backward class cell, fell from the seventh floor of the building. The incident reportedly occurred around 2 p.m. As news of the incident spread, panic gripped the entire surrounding area, including the MLA residence complex, and people began gathering at the scene.
Upon receiving the information, a police team immediately arrived at the scene and the seriously injured Bhurji was taken to the nearby civil hospital. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival. 56-year-old Nanakdin Bhurji had long been associated with the BJP and served as the state general secretary of the party's backward class cell.
