Bihar: Horrific accident involving a high-speed bus in Supaul, the speeding bus fell into a ditch, narrowly escaping the lives of 30 passengers.

A speeding bus carrying passengers lost control and plunged into a deep ravine on NH-106 in Supaul. However, a major tragedy was averted when it became trapped in a grove of bamboo. The lives of approximately 30 passengers on board were saved. About half a dozen people were injured in the accident and are undergoing treatment.


A horrific scene involving speeding occurred in Supaul district, Bihar, where a bus full of passengers lost control and plunged into a deep roadside ditch. However, a dense clump of bamboo in the ditch prevented a major accident. The bus became stuck in the bamboo, saving the lives of approximately 25 to 30 passengers on board. About half a dozen passengers were injured in the accident.


The incident occurred on NH-106 in Vishanpur, under the Pipra police station area. According to reports, the bus, full of passengers, was traveling from Bhimnagar to Saharsa. The speeding bus suddenly lost control and slid into a deep roadside ditch. The bus was about to overturn when it became stuck in a clump of bamboo in the ditch.

As the bus sank into the ditch, passengers screamed and screamed. For a brief moment, chaos reigned at the scene. Those inside were terrified. Eyewitnesses say that if the bus hadn't gotten stuck in the bamboo and overturned completely, the accident could have been even more horrific.


A bunch of bamboos saved the lives of 30 people.


Upon hearing the sound of the accident, nearby villagers rushed to the scene. Locals risked their lives to rescue the passengers trapped inside the bus. Rescue and relief operations continued for a long time. With the help of the villagers, all the passengers were safely evacuated.


About half a dozen passengers injured in the incident were sent to the Pipra Community Health Center for treatment. Upon receiving the information, Pipra police also arrived at the scene and began investigating the matter.


A passenger on the bus said that the bus went completely into the ditch, but everyone was saved by being caught in a cluster of bamboo. The passenger said that several people were injured, but villagers pulled everyone out in time.


Amid the cries, villagers became angels.


Locals say that accidents are common on NH-106 due to speeding and reckless driving. This time, a bamboo grove proved life-saving for several families. Police are currently investigating the matter.
