Controversial influencer Kirti Patel, who is constantly in the news on social media, was produced in the Junagadh District Court today by the police amidst tight security. When Kirti Patel, who was brought to Junagadh after being arrested from Rajasthan, reached the court complex, she became emotional after seeing the media cameras and started crying profusely. The police have initiated the remand process for questioning her in connection with the 3 crimes registered after her banned bath in Mrigikund in Bhavnath and heated arguments with police officers.

High voltage drama in court premises: Media sought for help

When Kirti Patel was brought to the Junagadh District Court, she had tears in her eyes. She kept crying while walking and pleaded for justice from the media representatives. She shouted, "The media should be present and see that I get the justice I deserve." However, the policemen in security stopped Kirti Patel from talking to the media any further and immediately took her to the court room. Seeing these scenes, there was great curiosity among the people present in the court premises.

Past controversy: Bathing in Mrigikunda and the anger of the monks

The whole controversy started during the Mahashivratri fair. On the last day of the fair held at the foothills of Bhavnath, when the sadhus' ravee comes out, according to tradition, only the sanyasis can take the royal bath in the Mrigikund. Kirti Patel threw dust in the eyes of the administration, wore saffron clothes and took a dip in this holy tank.

In the viral video of the incident, she was seen arguing and fighting with the female policemen and the PI (Police Inspector) on duty. This violation of tradition sparked outrage among the monks. Although, legally, there is no written prohibition against bathing in the Mrigikund, a police complaint was filed due to the violation of an age-old religious tradition.

Serious crimes registered against Kirti Patel

Not only the Mrigikund controversy, but other serious complaints have also been registered against Kirti Patel:

  1. Collision with police: A crime for misconduct with officers on duty.
  2. Bajrangdas Bapu's complaint: Bajrangdas Bapu filed a complaint at the police station for hurting religious sentiments.
  3. YouTuber attempts suicide: A local YouTuber alleged that he tried to end his life after getting fed up with Kirti Patel's constant mental torture.

Currently, Junagadh Police is conducting a thorough investigation into all these 3 crimes. The police want to know with whose help she reached the restricted area.
