Going to Himachal will be even more expensive, entry tax has been increased, new prices will be implemented from April 1

The Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has increased the entry fee for vehicles entering the state not by Rs 10-20, but by hundreds of rupees.

Himachal Pradesh News: If you are planning to go to Himachal Pradesh, or if you belong to Himachal Pradesh and live in Punjab or any other state, and you have a smaller or larger vehicle from any other state, then now you will have to pay three times the entry fee to enter Himachal. Let us tell you that on the one hand, people are already upset about the collection of entry tax in Himachal Pradesh, and now their problems are going to increase further, because there is going to be even more burden on their pockets.

The Congress government in Himachal Pradesh has increased the entry fee for vehicles entering the state by hundreds of rupees, not by Rs 10-20. According to the information received, the new policy will be implemented from April 1, and vehicles coming from other states will have to pay a higher fee than before. Under the new rates, small vehicles (such as cars, Innova, Thar and vans) will now be charged an entry tax of Rs 170, which was earlier Rs 70-110. The fee for big trucks and buses has been fixed at Rs 900, which was earlier a maximum of Rs 720.

Apart from this, Rs 320 will be charged from mini buses, Rs 570 from regular buses/trucks and Rs 900 from heavy tippers/trailers. The new policy of the government has made travel more expensive, due to which bus fares have to be increased. This will directly affect the common passengers, due to which people will have to bear the brunt of inflation.

Now there is a lot of resentment among the people of Punjab and the local people. The local people have demanded that the Himachal government should give some relief on coming to Himachal because Punjab is a neighboring state and there is kinship and mutual trade between the villages along the Himachal border, due to which people often have to come from Punjab to Himachal and from Himachal to Punjab, due to which a lot of burden falls on their pockets due to this coming and going. If the Himachal government does not give any relief, then the Punjab government should also impose toll tax on the vehicles of Himachal in the Punjab area adjacent to the Himachal border. 

When the company employees were contacted regarding this, they refused to speak on camera and said that they did not know anything about it, you can talk to the contractor about this.
