The accused arrested by the ANC in this case is identified as Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh. According to reports, the smuggler revealed that he used to organize lavish parties for celebrities. The case dates back to March last year, when the accused was arrested in connection with the seizure of mephedrone worth ₹252 crore in Sangli district, western Maharashtra, after being deported from Dubai.
