He breathed his last at the age of 65. His last rites will be performed in Mohali today. 


He had been ill for a month.  


Jaswinder Bhalla's close friend Bal Mukund Sharma said that this loss can never be compensated. We were together for forty years. He gave me the status of a brother. He never let me feel that we were born from two different mothers. He was the father of the Punjabi film industry. He was ill for about a month.


 Birth of Jaswinder Bhalla 


Jaswinder Bhalla was born on May 4, 1960 in Doraha Ludhiana. He was also a professor. He started his professional career as a comedian in 1988 with "Chhankata 88" and became an actor with the film "Dulla Bhatti". He is known for his comedy series "Chhankata" and comic roles in various Punjabi films. Today there is no Punjabi film in which he has not appeared.
