Schools in Noida and Ghaziabad have been closed amid the ongoing Kanwar Yatra, which has led to widespread traffic diversions. Ghaziabad schools are shut for the entire week, while Noida will observe a one-day closure on July 23, as authorities prioritise student safety and manage the surge in pilgrim movement. New Delhi: Schools across Gautam Buddh Nagar District (Noida, Greater Noida) and Ghaziabad have been ordered to shut temporarily due to the ongoing Kanwar Yatra. Authorities in both districts have taken precautionary steps to minimise disruption to students and ensure the smooth passage of pilgrims. In Ghaziabad, all schools, including those affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, and other boards, have remained closed for the entire week from July 17 to July 23.
