28 missing, four sent back... Shocking revelation on Pakistani citizens who came to watch India-Pakistan match 20 years ago
Kanpur News: The police has no information about the 28 Pakistanis who came to Kanpur to watch the India-Pakistan ODI match in 2005. After the order to send back the Pakistanis after the Pahalgam terror attack, the Kanpur police is now shocked.

Kashmir, the Ministry of External Affairs has cancelled the short term visas
issued to Pakistani citizens. After this, the Intelligence Bureau and LIU also
searched the records of Pakistani citizens in Kanpur. In this, many Pakistani
citizens were found missing.
50 Pakistanis living on long term
visas
According to LIU records, no Pakistani citizen
with short term visa is living in the city, while 50 Pakistani citizens are
living in the city on long term visas. At the same time, the police do not have
any information about those 28 missing citizens who came in 2005 to watch the
India-Pakistan match, but disappeared after that. Surprisingly, Kanpur police
does not even have their records.
India-Pakistan match was held in 2005
Let us tell you that in the year 2005, a one-day
cricket match series was held between India and Pakistan. One of its matches
was played at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur. Out of all the Pakistani citizens who
had come to watch the match, 32 did not return to their country. All of them
were on Exempted for Police report. They were not supposed to inform the police
or LIU on going to any district. Taking advantage of this, they suddenly went
missing somewhere. When the search began, the police found only four people,
who were sent back to Pakistan, but 28 are still missing.
Kanpur resident Shubham also died
Let us tell you that in the terrorist attack in
Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Shubham Dwivedi, a resident of Kanpur, was also
shot dead by terrorists. Shubham's wife claims that the terrorists first asked
his name and then shot him. Shubham got married in the month of February. He
had gone to Jammu and Kashmir with 11 members of his family.
