Due to crowd on Mauni Amavasya, Shiv Akharas have stopped Amrit Bathing. Sadhus
and Naga Sadhus of Mahanirvani and Niranjani Akharas did not come out to take
bath. Thousands of Naga monks are present in the cantonment itself. Akhara
Parishad President Mahant Ravinder Puri says that bathing has been stopped due
to huge crowd. Akharas will come out to take bath only when the situation
improves. Otherwise, the bath will be canceled.
