Kumar Vishwas has started batting dangerously on the pitch of Hindutva, what is his intention? Opinion
Kumar Vishwas has generally followed the soft Hindutva line. There have been talks of him joining the BJP but he never speaks against Nehru or Indira Gandhi. He also considers Rahul Gandhi a good person. He has also taken a dig at the BJP and RSS when he had the opportunity. But now he has adopted the hardline Hindutva line.
Poet, story teller, motivational speaker, former politician Kumar Vishwas is in the news these days. Recently, he came under the target of so-called secular parties by taking a dig at Bollywood artist Sonakshi Sinha's marriage without naming her. It has not even been 2 weeks since this incident that he attacked Saif Ali Khan and his son Taimur without naming them. Obviously, his video clips are going viral on social media. One section is opposing him while millions of people are supporting him with loud applause. The thing to see is that one thing common in both of his statements is that both of them support the concept of radical Hindutva. Although a story teller talks about Hindu religion, Vishwas's Hindutva seems to go much further than that. The biggest thing is that the public is liking him. ...So what should be understood from this?
1- Till now all parties were equal for him
He is not only commenting on Sonakshi and Saif Ali, for the last few days,
his speech is showing the style of a hard core leader of BJP. This tone of
Vishwas is being considered special and surprising because till now he used to
walk a middle path. There was a balance in his statements, speeches and
interviews. Which made it seem that he wanted to keep his doors open for both
Congress and BJP. Rahul Gandhi was praised in his statements and he was never
seen speaking against Nehru and Indira Gandhi. Along with this, many times he
also criticized BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He once also took a dig at
Baba Ramdev, the video of which is suddenly going viral. In this video, while
reciting a poem, Kumar Vishwas is saying that I bought his salt during Navratri,
I think he sells his product in such a way that if you do not buy it, then you
resign from Sanatan Dharma on the same day. Vishwas says that it was written on
that product that it was 25 lakh years old salt extracted from the Himalayas,
and the expiry date written below it was 7th February. During this, he is also
seen taking a dig at Acharya Balkrishna. This is the reason why the sudden
change in the form of Kumar Vishwas is surprising people.
2- The path of radical Hindutva is coming at a
time when it seems that BJP itself is changing.
The way RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Narendra Modi have shown their path
against radicalism in the last few days, it seems that we have delayed the
decision again. Because on one hand, the RSS chief is saying that the temple
mosque dispute should now stop in the country. On the other hand, PM Modi is
sending chaadar for Ajmer Dargah. He celebrates Christmas by going to the
church. It is clear that whether it is RSS or BJP, both are going through a
phase of change at this time. But in Uttar Pradesh, BJP is in a different
colour. The kind of speech CM Yogi Adityanath gave in the UP assembly after the
Sambhal violence, it was clear from that that the issue of Hindutva will remain
hot in Uttar Pradesh.
From the things Kumar Vishwas said in the presence of CM Yogi Adityanath
and Rajnath Singh at the program held on Atal Jayanti in Lucknow, it was clear
that he has no regrets for the jibe he made on Sonakshi Sinha's marriage. He
then said that I advise everyone to read Ramayana and Mahabharata. If you read
Hindu scriptures, you will not make such mistakes. Then I say that give
complete information about the family members of Ram and Sita to your family
members. Then he also takes another jibe at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind
Kejriwal without naming him. Vishwas says that I had read Mahabharata and
Ramayana, so I understood that if my friend has become Duryodhan, then it is
better to leave the chariot, otherwise he will be killed like Karna. Today he
would have been giving account of the liquor scam.
3- Has Vishwas received Yogi's
blessings?
In this Lucknow program, Vishwas had also predicted Yogi's becoming the
Prime Minister. He said that these days I am listening to the statements of my
leftist brothers. They are praising Atal ji. When Atal ji was in power, he was
called a fanatic. Then Advani ji came and the same people started praising Atal
ji. After this, when Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, both Atal and
Advani became great. Then he turned towards CM Yogi and said that Chief
Minister ji, the day is not far when people will call PM Modi good.
Kumar Vishwas did not stop here. He praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He
described Yogi as the most optimistic source of energy in India. Actually, what
Kumar Vishwas meant to say was that the day is not far when Yogi Adityanath
will come to the Centre, and then people will say what a good person Narendra
Modi was. After this statement of his, the people present on the stage started
smiling and there was applause too. Meanwhile, Kumar also said that when the
BJP state president came to me, it felt as if he was giving a slip for a seat.
There was a lot of applause for this.
3- There are only benefits for the believers
in the path of Hinduism
Actually, there are only benefits for Kumar Vishwas from batting
aggressively on the Hindu pitch. Till now, Ram Katha has been done in the
traditional style. All the old narrators like Morari Bapu etc. are getting old.
Meanwhile, the demand for Kumar Vishwas as a narrator has increased in the
whole country. His eloquence and being a stage poet brings life to his storytelling.
People listen to his story with full attention for hours. People like his jokes
in between. The tadka of hardline Hindutva in it makes people feel proud of
their religion. It is obvious that what else does a narrator need. He has
already burnt his hands in politics once. Secondly, he himself says that
speaking the truth and not bowing down before anyone makes his political
success doubtful. Despite this, who does not have the greed for power? It is
obvious that the path of hardline Hindutva is going to pave the way for
political success.
