Hindu leaders were on strike for three days

It is being told that Hindu leaders have been protesting in the temple premises for three days to remove the encroachment of Mahadevan temple premises. They say that it has been encroached by the Muslim community. The encroachers say that they have got a stay from the High Court and you cannot demolish our encroachment.

As soon as Mauganj BJP MLA Pradeep Patel reached Mahadevan temple at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, the people sitting in the dharna started breaking the boundary made by encroaching the land of the temple premises. In protest against this, men and women of Muslim community came forward with sticks. The police personnel present there took charge and SP Collector also reached the spot. In view of the heavy tension, police force has been called from Rewa. During this, there was stone pelting from both sides, while the BJP MLA has also been arrested.
