India-Russia : The friendship between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin is well known. Now these two great leaders are preparing to play a big game. It is reported that India and Russia are jointly exploring the possibilities of a very big deal. Under this deal, both the countries will together make a 'mysterious' engine, whose capabilities will be such that even superpower America will be shaken. Let us know whose engine it will be and what benefit will India get from this deal.

This deal will be between India and Russia

India's military power is increasing tremendously under the Modi government. Apart from foreign weapons, India is adding indigenously manufactured weapons, fighter planes, tanks and missiles to the military fleet. India's growing military power has stunned the enemies. Russia is India's biggest military partner. According to a report, now both the countries are jointly exploring the possibilities of making engines for Sukhoi fighter jets. It is expected that soon the deal will be finalized between the two countries regarding this.

This 'mysterious' engine will be made in India

Currently, India manufactures Tejas fighter jets. But India buys the engines of these fighter jets from abroad. Some selected countries like Russia and America make the engines of their fighter jets themselves. Even today, the method of making the engine of a fighter jet remains a mystery for India. India had been hoping for a long time that it would also make engines for fighter jets, but now Russia can make this dream come true. If a deal is struck with Russia, then the engines of fighter jets will be made in India.

India wants to get the license

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be on a visit to Moscow from 8 to 10 December. According to a report, ahead of his visit, DK Sunil, Chairman and Managing Director of the state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, is visiting Russia. Sunil is reportedly in Russia to strike a deal for licensed manufacturing of 240 AL31FP aero engines for the Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter aircraft in the Indian Air Force. His attempt is to obtain the license for the 240 AL31FP aero engine and get India to manufacture this engine in collaboration with Russia.

What will be the benefit to India?

India will be able to make engines for its fighter jets in the country itself. If India learns the process of making the Sukhoi 30 MKI engine, then the country will also develop the capability to make twin engines, because this fighter jet uses twin engines. Also, India will be able to develop this engine according to its needs. In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that this deal can play a big role for India in the coming times.
