'He is a monster...' Son raped his mother, said- stay with me like a wife, now the court has given this punishment

Bulandshahr News: Fast track court of Uttar Pradesh convicted the son in the case of rape of his 60-year-old mother and sentenced him to life imprisonment


Bulandshahr. A fast track court in Uttar Pradesh has convicted a son for raping his 60-year-old mother and sentenced him to life imprisonment. This shocking case is from Bulandshahr. Additional District Judge Varun Mohit Nigam convicted Abid and sentenced him. A fine of Rs 51,000 has also been imposed.

Government lawyer Vijay Sharma said, 'Today the honorable court has given a historic verdict. I have not seen such a case in my professional life. During the evidence, the victim cried in front of the court and repeated the same thing 20 times and said that her son raped her. Her son is a monster. The incident took place on 16 January 2023. The court has given the verdict of the case within 20 months.'

According to the victim, 'After my husband's death, the son wanted me to live as his wife.'

Giving information about the case, Sharma said, 'The accused Abid took his mother to the field on the pretext of getting fodder. He took his mother there and raped her in the field. Today the honourable court has sentenced the accused Abid to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 51,000. In a 376 case, the statement of the victim is sufficient.

Abid's younger brother Yusuf had lodged an FIR in the police station. His mother had expressed her pain to him. Yusuf said, 'When my mother returned from the field, she told me about the incident. We first tried to settle the matter at the family level but Abid started threatening my mother to live with him like a wife. After this I lodged a report.'

The police had registered a rape case on January 21 and Abid was arrested on January 22.
