I have never been after
any position'
In an interview with news agency ANI, Swati Maliwal
said, 'If he had politely asked me to resign from Rajya Sabha, I would have
given up my life. I have never been after any post.'
'I can work without any
post.'
Maliwal said, 'I left my engineering job to join
these people in 2006 when nobody knew them. I worked on the ground for so many
years and ran all kinds of operations. I was absolutely the most important
member along with those two or three people. I would have resigned immediately.
I can work without any post.'
She said, looking at the way the party has treated
her, she will not resign now and no force can force her to leave the Rajya
Sabha membership. She also said that after the assault incident, she has become
lonely in the party.
Maliwal said- I was disrobed in that house
Maliwal said, 'I have been cheated a lot. I would
like that no one should ever feel the way I am feeling. What all was not done
to intimidate me. I was disrobed in that house and character assassination is
going on every day. I am not able to understand what happened and why it
happened.'
