West Bengal CM and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee seriously injured, admitted to hospital

 


Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee suffered a serious injury on Thursday. This information has been given by Trinamool Congress (TMC). The party has shared his picture on Instagram and asked for prayers for his speedy recovery. In the picture, she is seen admitted in the hospital and blood is flowing from her forehead. According to sources, he has been admitted to the government hospital SSKM in Kolkata.

Trinamool Congress, while sharing several pictures of seriously injured Mamata Banerjee on its Twitter handle, wrote, "Our President @MamataOfficial has suffered a 'major injury'. Please pray for her."

Information received from the source has revealed that Mamta has been injured at her home. She fell while walking in the premises of her house, due to which she was seriously injured. He has been admitted to Kolkata's government hospital SSKM.

State BJP President wished for speedy recovery

Meanwhile, BJP state president Sukant Majumdar has wished for Mamata's health.

While sharing pictures of injured Mamata Banerjee on Instagram, he wrote, "He wishes CM @MamataOfficial a speedy recovery. Our prayers are with him for his quick recovery..."

Serious injury due to falling while walking in the house

Meanwhile, Trinamool Party sources have revealed that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee fell while walking in the Kalighat housing complex on Thursday. After this he was immediately taken inside the house, from where he was taken to the government hospital SSKM. Doctors have asked for stitches on the forehead. It is being told that he has suffered a serious injury.

Nephew Abhishek Banerjee reached the hospital to inquire about his condition.

CM Mamata's nephew and Trinamool's All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee has reached SSKM Hospital. Earlier on Thursday afternoon, he held a meeting in Mainaguri, Jalpaiguri. After returning from there to Kolkata, he directly reached SSKM Hospital. Abhishek's close relatives have also told that the Chief Minister has a deep wound on his forehead.
