Arvind Kejriwal said that about 50 lakh women in Delhi will benefit from this. This dream of ours for years was fulfilled this year. When money comes into the hands of a common man, it goes to the market. This creates demand in the market and leads to progress of the country. The budget of Delhi government is inspired by the concept of Ramraj. In this, all sections and all sectors have been taken care of.

CM Arvind Kejriwal said that today a big announcement has been made for my mothers and sisters of Delhi. Every woman above 18 years of age living in Delhi will be given Rs 1000 every month under the "Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana". This is no small thing. I think this will be the world's biggest program in the field of women empowerment. It is very easy to talk about women empowerment, but how will empowerment happen? The greatest women empowerment happens when women have money in their hands. When there is money in the pocket, a man feels powerful. If we put money in women's pockets, only then will they feel empowered.

Arvind Kejriwal said that in our society, especially those women who do not earn live in adverse conditions. Those women have to lend money to their husbands, sons and relatives for small things. This will not happen in Delhi now. Now, for every woman above 18 years of age in Delhi, whether she is our younger sister, elder sister or any mother, we have made an arrangement of one thousand rupees every month for every woman. Now every month one thousand rupees will go into the bank accounts of these women. This is a big thing.

 

Electricity, water, education, treatment, pilgrimage for the elderly, free bus travel for women.

 

CM Arvind Kejriwal said that we have been working for many years to give an honorarium of Rs 1,000 per month to women. Obviously this will cost a lot of money. But since there is now a very honest government in Delhi, which saves every single penny. First we made electricity free, water free, education free, treatment free, pilgrimage for the elderly free and women traveling in buses free. Our government saves money and delivers it to the public. Why couldn't this happen earlier? Why did governments of other parties not do it? Because the people of the other party eat all the public money, all the money goes into the pockets of the leaders and they eat it. But this does not happen in Delhi.

 

Arvind Kejriwal said that in Delhi we have saved every penny and spent it on the public. We were thinking for many years that we will give one thousand rupees to every woman, this dream was fulfilled this year. I want to congratulate all the women of Delhi very much. You have done me a great favor and a great blessing. I don't need anything else from you, just keep this blessing on my brother and son.

 

Our mothers and sisters will be able to take advantage of this scheme by giving self-declaration form – Arvind Kejriwal

 

CM Arvind Kejriwal said that women who are above 18 years of age will be eligible for this scheme, but beneficiaries of any government pension, women doing government jobs and paying income tax will not be eligible for the scheme. To simplify this system, we have made it mandatory for women to give a self-declaration form. Some will be checked randomly, but women will be able to avail the benefits of the scheme by giving self-declaration form. Its process will start after the Lok Sabha elections. Will bring it to the cabinet.

 

If all the money of the country goes into the hands of a few people then the economy gets ruined.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that but this is the bottom of the theory, the more money comes into the hands of a poor person, the more the country will progress and the more the economy will progress. When a poor man gets money, that money goes to the market. Poor people have to buy things of daily consumption including clothes and soap. This creates demand in the economy. When demand arises, new factories are set up and new shops open.

He said that today's budget is inspired by the concept of Ramraj. We are providing good hospitals, building good schools, building roads. Doing all the things. The roads in the villages of Delhi were somewhat neglected. This time we have made a separate budget provision for it. Attention will be given to village and rural roads of Delhi. The construction of village roads will be done with full enthusiasm. It was a very good budget. All sections and all sectors were taken care of in the budget. All sectors have been taken care of.

 

What did Delhi get by making all seven BJP MPs?

 

On the question of women who will benefit from the "Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana", CM Arvind Kejriwal said that our estimate is that around 45 to 50 lakh women will benefit from the scheme. If there is any obstacle in implementing the scheme, we will fight it and get the scheme implemented. Till now we have got so much work done by fighting, so we will get this work done too. The people of Delhi once gave us 62 out of 70 seats and once gave us 67 out of 70 seats, only then our government could run in Delhi. If they had given 40 seats out of 70, these people would have brought down our government. Like these people are toppling governments everywhere. For this I am thankful to the people of Delhi.
