Kisan Andolan: High Court raised questions on stopping farmers in Haryana, gave these instructions to the government regarding the protest

Farmer Protest: Internet services were suspended in many districts of Haryana due to the march of agitating farmers coming towards Delhi from Punjab and Haryana.

New Delhi: Farmer Protest: Farmers traveling from Punjab and Haryana towards Delhi are being stopped in Haryana. Its discussion reached the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Regarding which the High Court has made an important comment. On Tuesday, Punjab-Haryana High Court said that the government should ensure a place for the farmers to protest. The High Court said that the protesting people are Indian citizens and they have the right to move freely in the country. The High Court will hear this case again on 15 February (Thursday). The High Court has also asked Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Central Government to file a status report in this matter. Along with this, Punjab and Haryana High Court has also asked Delhi Government to form a party in this matter.

Punjab-Haryana High Court gave suggestion

Let us tell you that due to the march of agitating farmers coming towards Delhi from Punjab and Haryana, internet services were suspended in many districts of Haryana. Along with this, many borders were also sealed. In this case, a petition was filed in the Punjab and Haryana High Court a day later. While hearing this petition, the High Court on Tuesday suggested to the government that the state governments should identify a place for the demonstration or agitation. The High Court says that all parties should sit together and resolve this matter peacefully.

High Court asked questions

Punjab and Haryana High Court questioned the farmers as to why they are being stopped by Haryana when they are going to protest in Delhi. Satpal Jain, appearing in the High Court on behalf of the Centre, said that the Central Government is ready for continuous talks. On the other hand, the stand of Punjab was put forward that the farmers are moving forward peacefully. Whereas Haryana argued on blocking the roads that these arrangements are being made in view of the law and order situation.

Farmers going towards Delhi are being stopped in these areas

Let us tell you that farmers marched towards Delhi today (Tuesday) with other demands including legal guarantee of Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops. In view of this, police and paramilitary forces personnel in anti-riot uniforms were deployed on the three borders of Delhi, Singhu Border and Ghazipur Border. Along with this, a large number of police forces have also been deployed in many areas entering Delhi. Apart from this, in view of the farmers' march, Delhi Police has also imposed Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) for a month, according to which gathering of five or more people, processions or rallies and carrying people are prohibited. Entry of tractor trolleys is banned.
