He said that the High Court had also said that national security is in danger due to illegal mining along the international border. He also gave the example of illegal mining in Khadur Sahib where an honest and competent officer SSP Gurmeet Singh Chauhan was replaced because he himself arrested the brother-in-law of MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura.
