Women's Reservation Bill passed in Lok Sabha. On Wednesday, 454 votes were cast in its favor while only 2 votes were cast in opposition. This bill has been passed in the Lok Sabha with two-thirds majority. Earlier, during the discussion on the bill, many members from the ruling party and the opposition took part.

Owaisi's party protested 

Let us tell you that Owaisi has described the Women's Reservation Bill as a check bounce bill. They have protested calling it anti-OBC and anti-Muslim. Owaisi said that this is a destruction bill. Owaisi asked the question that there is no MP from Jain community in this Lok Sabha. Can Home Minister Amit Shah stand up and say why Jain is not an MP? Why has no Muslim become MP from Gujarat since 1984? I accuse Sardar Patel and Nehru of betraying the Muslim community in the Constituent Assembly. If he had been honest, Muslim representation would have been more in this House.
