Open pole of thugs who defrauded lakhs in the name of PM Awas Yojna, mastermind and two others arrested

In Uttar Pradesh, the UP Police has busted a group cheating people in the name of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.


In Uttar Pradesh, the UP Police has busted a group cheating people in the name of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Police have arrested three people from Kanpur Dehat in UP, who got personal data of hundreds of people by luring them with houses and then duped them. 

Kanpur police has busted the gang of cheats. UP's STF has issued a release giving information about the case. It was said in the release that 2 people, including the mastermind of the gang who cheated hundreds of people by luring them with houses by obtaining the data of eligible beneficiaries for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, were arrested from Kanpur Dehat. 

 

The mastermind of the case is Lakhan Singh's son Rajesh Singh alias Cheeta alias Deepak Mishra. The other accused has been identified as Anil Singh alias Pradeep Mishra alias Deepak Mishra, son of late Amar Singh. 

 

Police have received information that both of them used to obtain mobile number, voter ID, Aadhaar card, ATM card, PAN card, pass book, SIM card packet and many other documents by luring houses from the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana.
