Ludhiana Gas Leak Case: Gas took 11 lives in just 30 seconds, poisonous gas caused havoc
New Delhi: Ludhiana Gas
Leak Case: There has been a big disclosure in the case of
the death of 11 people who were victims of poisonous gas leak that happened
yesterday i.e. Sunday in Gyaspura area of Ludhiana, Punjab. According to
the information, 11 people died in just 30 seconds due to the leaking of this
poisonous gas. At the same time, the people who were admitted to the
hospital in an unconscious condition, they also do not remember what happened
to them. Meaning, when these people regained consciousness, they found
themselves on the hospital bed. On the other hand, the amount of hydrogen
sulphide gas has been found to be high in the gas leakage. NDRF's air
quality sensor has confirmed this.
Experts say that hydrogen sulphide
is such a dangerous gas that a person can die within half a minute by coming in
contact with it. At the same time, the reasons for the gas leak have not
been confirmed yet. However, the police say that gas leakage can also
happen through sewerage. Because there is chemical flow in these sewerage
and the factories of the area are responsible for this. It was told in a
media report that there are about 40 such factories in Gyaspura, whose
chemicals are discharged into the sewerage. Due to the absence of any
treatment plant in these factories, dangerous chemicals are discharged into the
sewerage.
Police investigation has also
revealed that these factories discharge chemicals into the sewerage in the dark
of night around one or two o'clock.
