New Delhi:  India vs New Zealand 3rd T20I Match: Team India captured the series by winning the last match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad by 168 runs. Opener Shubman Gill played an important role in Team India's victory. Batting first, India scored a mammoth score of 234 runs losing four wickets. In response, the Kiwi team was bundled out for 66 runs. New Zealand won the first match of the series by 21 runs. In the second match of the series played in Lucknow, India counterattacked and won by six wickets. By winning the last match, Team India captured the series. 

Chasing a big target, New Zealand's top order bowed down before the Indian bowlers. New Zealand's score was 4 runs that captain Hardik Pandya caught by Suryakumar Yadav and sent Finn Allen to the pavilion. On the first ball of the second over, Arshdeep Singh got caught by Hardik Pandya and showed Devon Conway the way to the pavilion. Mark Champman, who came to bat at number three, was thinking of opening the account when Arshdeep Singh caught Ishaan Kishan and dismissed him for zero. 

New Zealand's score was 7 runs that on the fourth ball of the third over, Hardik Pandya got caught by Suryakumar Yadav and sent Glenn Phillips to the pavilion on a personal score of two runs. By reaching 21, half of the New Zealand team had returned to the pavilion. Daryl Mitchell played the highest innings of 35 runs for his team, facing 25 balls. Mitchell was dismissed by Umran Malik after getting him caught by Mavi. In this way, New Zealand got piled on 66 runs in 12.1 overs. 

Kiwi batsmen were battered in front of Indian bowlers. Captain Hardik Pandya started the bowling and took four wickets after spending 16 runs in 4 overs. Arshdeep Singh took two wickets after spending 16 runs in three overs. Umran Malik bowled 2.1 overs and spent 9 runs and took two wickets. Shivam Mavi took two wickets after spending 12 runs in two overs. Kuldeep Yadav spent 12 runs bowling one over.
