Lucknow Building Collapse: LDA's corrupt system became the reason for Lucknow's horrific accident? The order to demolish the building was received 12 years ago.

Lucknow News: On the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, a three-member inquiry committee including Commissioner Roshan Jacob, Joint Commissioner of Police Piyush Mordia and Chief Engineer PWD was formed to investigate the accident.


Lucknow Building Collapse: Two people have died due to the collapse of Alaya Apartment in Lucknow. Meanwhile, a big news related to this accident has come to the fore, Alaya apartment was ordered to be demolished in the year 2010. In the year 2010, on August 2, the then prescribed authority Rakesh Kumar Mishra had ordered the demolition of this building, but for 12 years and 5 months this order was being suppressed by the LDA officials. After the cancellation of the map of the building, it was ordered to be demolished twice. Had the building been demolished in time, this horrific accident would not have happened because of the corrupt system of the LDA.

 

Relief and rescue work still going on

 

Regarding this incident, DGP DS Chauhan said on this incident that the construction of the building is of poor quality, this could be the reason behind its collapse. Along with this, he said that permission was not taken even for the top 2 floors of the building. After this accident, relief and rescue work is going on, 12 teams each of NDRF and SDRF and other teams are deployed.

 

Constitution of 3-member inquiry committee on Lucknow accident

 

On the other hand, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Brajesh Pathak said that the incident that happened in Lucknow is very heart-wrenching. Since yesterday evening, the rescue operation is going on continuously, the people who have been saved safely and their treatment is going on. Still the rescue operation is going on. Along with this, on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath , a three-member inquiry committee including Commissioner Roshan Jacob, Joint Commissioner of Police Piyush Mordia and Chief Engineer PWD was formed to investigate the accident. The committee will identify the people responsible for the accident and submit its report within a week.
