The price of intranasal corona vaccine INCOVACC has been fixed. Its one dose will cost Rs 800 in private hospitals. At the same time, the cost of this vaccine will be Rs 325 in government hospitals.

The price of Bharat Biotech's intranasal corona vaccine INCOVACC has been fixed. Its one dose will cost Rs 800 in private hospitals. 5 percent GST will also be applicable on this. At the same time, the cost of this vaccine will be Rs 325 in government hospitals. Only last week iNCOVACC was included in the corona vaccination program. The intranasal vaccine has been approved as a booster shot.

The world's first intra-nasal vaccine, INCOVACC, developed by India has recently received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO). Phase I, II and III clinical trials were evaluated with successful results for the vaccine candidate. It is specially formulated to allow intranasal delivery through Nasal Drops.

How does this vaccine work

Bharat Biotech has prepared this nasal vaccine in collaboration with the University of Washington. The nasal spray vaccine is given through the nose instead of by injection. It produces immunity in the inner parts of the nose. Corona first attacks the body through the nose, in such a way it creates immunity in the name of vaccine.

So far 219.89 crore vaccine doses have been administered in India. At the same time, booster dose has been given to more than 22 crore people. By the end of January, iNCOVACC will be available for those who have taken both doses of the corona vaccine.

Recently, all restrictions related to coronavirus were lifted in China, due to which there are large scale cases of infection. Apart from China, the outbreak of Kovid is being seen once again in many countries of the world. In India, PM Modi has also appealed to the common people to take all kinds of steps for the prevention of Kovid.
