India China Faceoff: Dragon on the lookout for 'bullying' in Doklam, Chinese trickery exposed by satellite photos!
India China Faceoff is in news after Chinese gimmick in
Arunachal. Now some pictures of Doklam have come to the fore which indicate permanent
construction and occupation by Chinese troops.
The confrontation between India and China took place in
Tawang, Arunachal. After the recent India China Faceoff, the deviousness of the
dragon has been exposed once again. Meanwhile, many satellite photos have come
to the fore. In these, construction of new bridge, permanent construction and
village-like structure can be seen in Doklam. These pictures are believed to be
a sign of increasing Chinese occupation.
Actually, Doklam is India-Tibet-Bhutan tri-junction. The
tension that arose many years ago in the Doklam area seems to be raising its
head once again. There are indications of permanent construction from the
Chinese side in Doklam, which has been the main point of the India China
Faceoff. There are indications of this from satellite photos. Meanwhile,
sources said India is keeping an eye on Chinese construction in the region.
As tensions escalate in Arunachal Pradesh following clashes
between Indian and Chinese troops, evidence of unsettling construction work has
once again emerged from the Doklam region. Let us tell you that about five
years ago in 2017, there was a standoff between Indian and Chinese troops in
Doklam for 73 days.
According to reports, Chinese troops are still occupying the
area in Bhutan which India does not like. India Today quoted intelligence
reports as saying, China has strengthened infrastructure across the borders,
constructed tunnels to store heavy weapons and doubled its strength near the
borders.
Recent reports suggest that the Indian Army is also
increasing its infrastructure, the news said. India is also increasing the
deployment of troops. The recent changes have happened to such an extent that
there is a distance of only a few meters between the soldiers of both the
sides. India is concerned about the new constructions by the Chinese side.
These construction works also include a bridge. There is a possibility of
increasing tension. According to people with an understanding of international
and strategic affairs, another deadlock may arise between the two countries
like five years ago.
Sources say that India is keeping an eye on the Chinese
build-up and if it is felt that India's sovereignty is being compromised,
action will be initiated. There are also reports of road expansion activity in
areas around Doklam, where the standoff took place in 2017. Recent satellite
images from American firm- Planet Labs PBC and some other reports also confirm
the change in status quo between India and China, India Today report said.
The report said that about 9 km from the India-Bhutan-China
tri-junction, China continues to expand its presence in Bhutanese territory.
Pangda Village, established in 2020. 2021 saw an expansion. Recently further
expansion has been observed in the south. Analysis of recent satellite imagery
confirms the construction of new buildings as well as a bridge over the Torsa
water body.
Siliguri's chicken neck is also India's biggest concern in
this area. There is a possibility of construction from the Chinese side close
to this area, known as the Siliguri Corridor. Chicken neck is a narrow
passageway. One of the narrowest points, this corridor stretches for 22 km. The
Siliguri Corridor, which connects the north-eastern states to the rest of the
country, is also important because recent images have shown more ground
clearance south of Doklam.
A group of new villages about 20 km from the border in the
north is called Langmarpo. These areas include Saiburu, Chaitangsha and Kule.
There is rapid construction going on in the villages being set up by China in
Bhutanese territory.
Let us tell you that about 63 months ago in August 2017, the
73-day India China standoff started when Indian troops stopped the Chinese road
construction in Doklam, a disputed area between China and Bhutan. Strategic
experts felt that the road connectivity would give the Chinese side direct
access to the Siliguri Corridor, giving China a strategic advantage. According
to reports, China had to stop construction due to protests and pressure. It is
also a shocking fact that Chinese soldiers are continuously increasing their
firepower. The Indian Army is also making efforts to retaliate and match.
