Hajipur station: Joint action of RPF and GRP, stolen child recovered within 2 hours

A case of child theft has come to light from Hajipur station in Bihar. There the child of a woman living in Assam was stolen.


Child found after hard work 

Actually, after the child was stolen, the woman was crying near the waiting room of the station. When GRP Station President Jai Singh TU reached him, he told that his child was missing. After this, the CCTV camera installed at the station was reconstructed, in which another woman was seen taking the child from the station. The station police immediately spread their nets all around to catch the thief. After this RPF and GRP jointly started action. Under this, all the areas were completely sealed. GRP and RPF personnel started searching for the child and the woman everywhere. The people of the vehicles parked in the campus and the people around were also being questioned. Due to which the child thief woman was not able to run away anywhere with the child and she was caught along with the child from the station campus itself.

Accused woman arrested, investigation continues 

The child could be found only because of the prompt action taken jointly by RPF and GRP. Babita, a resident of Assam told that 3 years ago she came to Bhagwanpur in Vaishali from Assam after love marriage with Subodh Kumar, a resident of Bhagwanpur. Her 2-year-old child is Sudeep with whom she reached Hajipur station to go to her home in Assam. Where a woman approached him and after talking to him made friendship and then started playing with the child. Meanwhile, when Babita went to the bathroom, the accused woman ran away with the child after seeing the opportunity. The arrested accused woman told that she was taking the child to visit Sonpur fair. At present the matter is being investigated.
