Two minor boys have been taken into custody for raping a 10-year-old girl in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district.


Two minor boys have been taken into custody for raping a 10-year-old girl in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district. A police officer gave this information on Wednesday.

 

Superintendent of Police (SP) Pankaj Srivastava said that the incident took place on Tuesday in a village under Chachoda police station area.

 

He said that according to the complaint lodged by the victim's family, the minor boys raped the girl when she was grazing buffalo near her village.

 

The SP said that both the accused, aged 15, have been detained under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
