Binny's big statement about Asia Cup 2023, it became clear why India will not go to Pakistan

 


New Delhi: In the T20 World Cup 2022, the great match between India and Pakistan will be played on the Melbourne ground on 23 October. Both the teams are busy in their preparations for this match. Before this match, the cricket boards of both the teams are also seen competing among themselves. In fact, the cricket boards of both the countries came face to face when BCCI Secretary Jay Shah made it clear that Team India will not go to Pakistan to participate in the Asia Cup 2023. 

The new President of BCCI, Roger Binny has said a big thing on this matter today. Roger Binny said that he is not our call. We can't say where our team needs to go. If we leave the country, or other countries come here, we have to get approval from the government. We cannot take this decision on our own, we have to trust the government. 

Let us tell you that Pakistan was going to host the Asia Cup to be played next year. But the Chief of the Asian Cricket Council, Jay Shah, while announcing Team India to go on a tour of Pakistan, said that the Asia Cup 2023 will not be held in Pakistan. He had further told that the Asia Cup 2023 will be played at neutral venue. After this decision of the ACC chief, the Pakistan Cricket Board was shocked. 

After this decision of BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and ACC Chief Jay Shah, the officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board held a meeting. Pakistani officials considered many options in their meeting. Not only this, the Pakistan Cricket Board also threatened to be out of the Asian Cricket Council. 

Let us tell you that the cricket teams of both the countries face each other only in ICC events. Since 2012, the teams of both the countries have not played a single bilateral series. It was expected that in the Asia Cup 2023, Team India would go on a tour of Pakistan. But after the announcement of BCCI secretary Jay Shah, everything was already clear. Pakistan was also hoping that Team India would go to it in the next year's Asia Cup, but Pakistan kept watching.
