Senior Advocate GS Chaturvedi and Advocate Amrita Rai Mishra presented the side of Shrikant Tyagi. The hearing was held in a single bench of Justice Mayank Kumar Jain. Earlier, Shrikant Tyagi had got bail in the abuse case. Shrikant Tyagi was earlier granted bail in the case of IPC sections 354, 420 and abusing. There were four cases registered against Shrikant Tyagi, out of which all have now got bail.

On August 5, a video of Shrikant Tyagi went viral in which he was seen abusing a woman. After the matter caught fire, a case was registered against Tyagi. Tyagi was on the run after the registration of the case. The police had also announced a reward of 25 thousand rupees by taking gangster action on him. Twelve police teams were deployed to search for him, finally he was caught from Meerut and sent to jail.

In the case of Shrikant Tyagi, his wife Anu Tyagi and Tyagi Samaj organized a press conference in Ghaziabad. During this, Anu Tyagi said that the way this matter is, it has gone in the wrong direction. Under a conspiracy, Shrikant Tyagi was included in it. Anu Tyagi accused the police of vandalism. Anu Tyagi said, 'Her husband was only planting trees, they got agitated, that woman did not live there. I have repeated this passage over and over again. Today Tyagi Samaj and I are repeating this thing that we should get justice. Wrong action has been taken against us by the police. Action was taken against Shrikant Tyagi under the Gangster Act. The woman's husband was present there and was secretly making videos. We were silent on this matter from the beginning, our silence made us the culprits.
