MP: Har Ghar Tricolor Campaign! Women of this village are making 3 lakh tricolors

A target has been set to hoist the tricolor at more than one and a half crore houses in Madhya Pradesh regarding the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan'. In view of this, about 350 women are engaged in the work of making the tricolor flag in the brickkhedi gram panchayat building.


While on the one hand politics is being done about the tricolor campaign in every household, on the other hand, women of the village are also getting employment from this campaign. Through this campaign, women are becoming self-reliant in the villages adjacent to the central government Bhopal. Actually, in this campaign, these women of brickkhedi village have got a new means of earning. About 450 women of women's self-help groups are engaged in making flags in the village of Etkhedi. The target of these women is to prepare about three lakh flags. About five thousand flags are being made daily in the Gram Panchayat Bhawan of Etkhedi.

Let us tell you that the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to get the work of making the tricolor done by women only for the campaign. Women are not only feeling proud by joining this campaign, but they are also getting their income from it. Women are paying the school fees of their children with the income from this.

Let us tell you that women self-help groups have been given the task of making flags on behalf of District Panchayat, Municipal Corporation, Municipality in entire Madhya Pradesh. Samandar Singh Shakya, Assistant Secretary of Etkhedi Gram Panchayat said that around 350 women are engaged in making the tricolor flag in the Etkhedi Gram Panchayat building. These women will prepare 2 lakh 58 thousand flags. These will be handed over to the Zilla Panchayat. The work of making 5000 flags is being done here every day. Women are being given 50 paise to 3 rupees on every flag. About 3 lakh flags will be made here

Let us tell you that a target has been set to hoist the tricolor at more than 1.5 crore houses in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also held a meeting of officers for this.
