Terrorists opened fire at Lal Bazar in Srinagar, 1 J&K policeman killed
Giving information, the Kashmir Zone Police said, ASI Mushtaq Ahmed was a victim of terrorist attacks and attained martyrdom.
Srinagar: Terrorists targeted Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel in Srinagar on Tuesday, in which a policeman was killed. The incident took place when terrorists fired indiscriminately at the police in Lal Bazar area. Three Jammu and Kashmir policemen were injured in the terrorist attack. The injured policemen were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. In this incident, ASI Mushtaq Ahmed died after being admitted to the hospital. Giving information, the Kashmir Zone Police said, ASI Mushtaq Ahmed was a victim of terrorist attacks and attained martyrdom. We pay tribute to the martyr for his supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty.
The other two injured personnel are being treated in this terrorist attack. Earlier, the Kashmir Zone Police had confirmed that terrorists attacked a police party in Srinagar, injuring three policemen. Terrorists opened fire on Police Naka party in Lal Bazar area of Srinagar city. Three police personnel were injured in this terrorist incident and have been admitted to the hospital. The area has been cordoned off.
