Power Crisis Will End In Haryana, Government Is Taking Special Steps
There is continuous power crisis in Haryana. To end this crisis, now the government has decided to generate solar power along with setting up new power plants.
Haryana government is
planning to set up a new power plant in Yamunanagar, with a special focus on
solar energy by the government. The government is also moving ahead
rapidly on the plan to set up power plants on the canals of the state through
solar panels. Chief Minister Manohar Lal has also directed Power Minister
Ranjit Singh Chautala to work in this direction. In principle, after the
directions of the Chief Minister, it has been decided to encourage solar power
plots. At the same time, its proposals are being made by the New and
Renewable Planning Department.
The state government is trying to set up a power plant to generate electricity from crop residue. In the first phase, four places will be set up in Fatehabad in Jind Kaithal Narwana for power generation from stubble. Electricity will be produced from the plant, rather compressed biogas will be produced, this biogas can be used as engine in small vehicles, similarly solar panels will be installed on both sides of the canals in the first phase. These panels will be installed in such a way that it covers the footpath on the side of the canals and also part of it on the canals. For this, a design is being prepared which will also look beautiful. Such solar panels are installed in many countries including America and Punjab has also started such a plan, but for this a complete action plan is being prepared. The minister has sought a detailed report from the concerned officials regarding these projects.
