Two policemen were injured in a sudden explosion in a bomb produced as evidence in Bihar's Patna Civil Court on Friday. An Inspector Umashankar Sharma and a constable Subodh Kumar - both were posted at the Agamkuan police station. And had placed a bomb on the table in the prosecution room and was busy with some paper formalities when suddenly the explosion took place.

The injured inspector was taken to Patna Medical College Hospital. The constable also suffered minor injuries. A bomb was recovered from Patel hostel in the state capital during recent raids. Soon after the blast, the police team of Pirbahor police station reached the civil court.
