Hapur Blast: On Saturday, 9 people were killed, while more than 19 people were injured when a boiler exploded in a chemical factory in the industrial area of Dhaulana police station area of Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, eyewitnesses told about the incident.

Relief and rescue work is going
on, Inspector General of Police, Meerut Zone, Praveen Kumar said that
relief work is being done rapidly and the injured have been sent to the hospital. According
to eyewitnesses, the explosion was so strong that the roofs of several nearby
factories were blown off. Police administration and fire department
reached the spot and started relief work and rescued many people from there.

According to the police, the boiler exploded in Krishna Organic Company behind the CNG pump in UPSIDC (Industrial Area) of Dhaulana police station area of Hapur on Saturday, causing a fire there.
PM Modi and CM Yogi expressed grief
, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences on the accident. Apart
from them, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over
the incident on Twitter and expressed condolences to the bereaved families,
wishing peace to the departed souls. Yogi has directed the officials of
the district administration to reach the spot and conduct rescue work and
extend all possible help to the family members.

According to a government statement issued in Lucknow on Saturday evening, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the Divisional Commissioner and Inspector General of Police of Meerut to visit the spot and monitor these works effectively.
He has also directed to get the accident investigated by experts . Hapur Superintendent of Police Deepak Bhukar said that relief work has been expedited. The injured have been sent to the hospital.
