Patna:  Agnipath scheme protests: In Bihar, protesters are protesting from the road to the railway track regarding the Agnipath scheme. The protesters have blocked the route of every train. Many trains were also set on fire. In such a situation, the operation of trains has been affected the most. According to the CPRO, many rail routes of the Rail Division under East Central Railway in Bihar were disrupted on Thursday. Due to this the passengers are facing problems. Regarding this, ADG Law and Order Sanjay Singh of Bihar has appealed to the students to make peace.

Bihar's ADG Law and Order Sanjay Singh has said that continuous action is being taken against the miscreants. So far more than two dozen FIRs have been registered. Hundreds of miscreants have been identified and arrested. He has appealed to the angry students to protest within the ambit of the law. It has also been said that do not take the law in your hands. It is not proper to damage government property.

Fire brigade in-charge Shambhu Kumar said that seven fire brigade vehicles doused the fire in three air-conditioned AC bogies of Hatia Islampur New Delhi Express at Islampur railway station in Nalanda in about three hours. However, the front and rear bogies attached to these bogies were removed from contact with fire. Due to this, the rest of the bogies did not catch fire. If seen, all the bogies have been damaged.
