Kedarnath Yatra stopped due to bad weather

 


India News, Dehradun, (Kedarnath Yatra): The Kedarnath Yatra has been banned due to bad weather. Let us inform that it has been raining continuously for a few days in Kedarnath valley, due to which the administration has stopped more than 10 thousand pilgrims at different places from today as a precautionary measure.

Helicopter service for Kedar Dham also disrupted for 4 hours

Passengers have been instructed to stay until the weather improves. Yesterday also the yatra was halted for three hours due to mist along with rain. Helicopter services to Kedar Dham were also disrupted for 4 hours. When the weather cleared, about 8000 pilgrims were allowed to go to Kedar Dham. Uday Umesh Lalit, Senior Justice of the Supreme Court and Chairman of the National Legal Services Authority, will also reach Badrinath from Kedarnath by helicopter tomorrow.

Yamunotri Highway restored for big vehicles

Apart from Kedar Dham, Yamanotri and Gangotri and Badrinath Dham Yatra has not been interrupted. Yamunotri Highway has been restored for large vehicles. At one place, debris had come from the hill on the highway, due to which the road was blocked for five days. According to the administration, about 12 thousand passengers have been stopped at different places as a precautionary measure due to falling stones at some places on the walkway of Kedar Nath. Snow is also falling in the Kedar valley, due to which devotees are facing more problems here.
