Bharti Singh's troubles escalate, NCM takes action on bearded remarks

Mumbai: Famous comedian Bharti Singh's video in which she is making fun of beard and mustache is becoming a constant problem for her. Now the National Commission for Minorities has taken notice. The commission has received a complaint against Bharti Singh. Commission Chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura took notice of this and sent a notice to the Chief Secretaries of Punjab and Maharashtra seeking a report.

Bharti Singh is accused of hurting religious sentiments. People claimed that the jokes made by the Indians were insulting to the Sikh community. However, Bharti Singh also reacted by saying that he had no intention of harming any community. He also apologized for this and urged everyone not to misunderstand his words.

Bharti Singh recently shared a video of herself apologizing to the Sikh community. In the video, he said, "I have not mentioned any religion or made fun of any Punjabi. I was doing comedy with my friend, but if it hurts the feelings of any class then I join hands and apologize. I am a Punjabi myself, I was born in Amritsar and I have always respected him. I am proud to be Punjabi.

In fact, Bharti Singh is seen talking to actress Jasmine Bhasin during one of his shows. Meanwhile, commenting on beard and mustache, Bharti says, "Why don't you want beard and mustache? Beards and mustaches have great benefits. Drink milk, put such a beard in the mouth, the test of seva comes. Many of my friends are married, and they spend all day pulling lice out of their beards.
