CM Mamata targets BJP on Jahangirpuri violence; Said- 'We want to unite, not bulldoze'
Mamata Banerjee hit out at the ruling-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Jahangirpuri campaign. Banerjee said her Trinamool Congress-led government does not want to be 'bulldozed'.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee attended the inaugural session of the 6th Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) in Kolkata. In his speech, he targeted the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Jahangirpuri campaign. Addressing prominent industrialists like Gautam Adani, Sanjeev Puri, Sanjeev Goenka and Sajjan Jindal, CM Banerjee said that her Trinamool Congress-led government does not want to 'bulldoze', they do not believe in dividing people, but They want to 'unify the people'.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said, "We don't want to bulldoze. We don't want to divide people, we want to unite people. Unity is our main strength, if you are united then culturally you are very much Will be strong. But, if you are divided, it will fall. A joint family is a big and successful family."

CM Banerjee further said that "Now we
have to see better investment in tourism sector, we also have other sectors
like petroleum. We have constituted a task force under chief secretary for
smooth implementation of projects. I request industrial friends. I request them
to lead it now. I also request the Chief Secretary and other industrialists to
pay more attention to setting up an export center in Bengal to make easy
business in Bengal. What will Bengal do in the next 10 years, No one can hold
the future. Work on both investment and industrial development today."
In her speech, CM Mamata also claimed that
West Bengal is the first state to hold a physical business summit since the
outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to boost business
opportunities in West Bengal, the TMC leader said, "It is a gateway to
East and North-East India, neighboring Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal as well as
Southeast Asia."
