Kashmir:Terrorists carry out grenade attack on security forces Shopian, no casualties

Pakistan-backed terrorists carried out a grenade attack on security forces in the Keegan area of Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.


Srinagar: Pakistan-backed terrorists carried out a grenade attack on security forces in the Keegan area of Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

However, the grenade missed its target and exploded on the road. No one was reported injured in the attack. More information on the matter is officially awaited.

Meanwhile, news agency ANI quoted Jammu and Kashmir Police as saying that in another joint operation, the Indian Army, CRPF, SSB and Jammu and Kashmir Police recovered 11 grenades and 11 UBGLs during a search operation in Jhandfaran Shiri village of Baramulla district.
