Snowfall in the mountains will increase the cold in Punjab in the next 24 hours

The meteorological department has forecast cold wave for the next three days. A yellow alert has been issued for this. On the other hand, special caution is advised for children and the elderly.


New Delhi : North India's mountains , with falling snow on the plains is growing cold. Uttarakhand , where the other peaks, including Kedarnath is snowing in the following areas are growing cold winds. The Himachal North portal of Atal Rohtang tunnels in ice storms has increased the difficulties of police personnel, including motorists. More than 500 tourist vehicles were stranded in Solanganala near Manali on Friday due to snowfall .

Cold wave forecast for three days

All of them were rescued at around 9 pm. In addition , the temperature in Jammu and Kashmir has been falling due to cold. The meteorological department has forecast cold wave for the next three days. It may be recalled that Punjab's mercury has risen to 1 degree due to cold snap.
