Cases In Delhi: In the national capital Delhi, there is a
steady increase in the daily cases of corona virus. According to the data
released by the Health Department at around 7.30 pm, 923 cases have been

May 30, 946 cases were reported in Delhi and 78 patients died. The
infection rate was recorded at 1.25 percent. Today the infection rate is

far 14,45,102 cases have been confirmed in the city, out of which 14,17,804

this Delhi, 2191 corona infected are being treated.
There
were 496 cases in Delhi on Tuesday, 331 on Monday, 290 on Sunday, 249 on
Saturday, 180 on Friday, 118 on Thursday and 125 on Wednesday. So far 238
cases of Omicron , the
new variant of corona virus, have been confirmed in Delhi, which is the
highest in the country.
Delhi
Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal held a review meeting today amid rising cases
of Corona. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was also present in this
meeting. Anil Baijal is also the president of DDMA.
Sources
said the DDMA has decided that the restrictions imposed under the 'yellow
alert' in the national capital will continue for the time being. He said
the authorities are in favor of monitoring the situation for some more time and
avoiding imposing further restrictions under 'amber alert'. An 'Amber
Alert' is declared when the infection rate is recorded at one percent or more
for two consecutive days.
A
source said, "It was discussed that most of the cases of Kovid-19 are
asymptomatic or mild and only a few people have required hospitalization, which

the increase in the cases of Kovid-19, today Delhi Health Minister Satyendar

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday declared a 'yellow alert' in view of
the increase in cases, under which schools, colleges, cinemas and gyms will
remain closed. The order states that the Delhi Metro will operate with 50
percent of its seat capacity, while auto rickshaws and cabs can accommodate up
to two passengers.
