Srinagar: Cowardly act of terrorists, hand grenade thrown at security forces, two injured including a policeman

According to the information, two people were brought to the hospital, who got shrapnel in the hand grenade explosion. Both the injured are stable.

A civilian and a policeman were reported injured in a grenade attack by terrorists near Alimasjid Idgah in Srinagar on Wednesday evening. Sources said that the suspected terrorists hurled a hand grenade towards a police party which exploded on the road.

Two people, including a policeman, were injured in the blast. According to information received from hospital sources by India Today, two people were brought to the hospital, who were shrapnel in the hand grenade explosion. He said that both the injured are stable. The injured have been identified as Ejaz Nabi Bhat of Srinagar and Sajjad Ahmed Bhat, a policeman from Narwara Idgah.

Earlier on Monday night at around 8 pm in Srinagar, terrorists shot dead a salesman working in a Kashmiri Pandit shop in Bohri Kadal area. The deceased person has been identified as Mohammad Ibrahim, a resident of Bandipora.

The deceased person was a salesman of Kashmir Pandit Dr Sandeep Mawa. Terrorist organization Muslim Janbaz Force has claimed responsibility for the attack on Dr. Sandeep Mawa's employee. The terrorist organization has said in its statement that Sandeep Mawa and his father are working for government agencies and trying to settle non-local people in Kashmir.
