Bombay HC rejects Raj Kundra's bail in porn film racket case
Raj Kundra's anticipatory bail has been rejected by the Bombay High Court.
The Bombay High Court, on Thursday, rejected
businessman Raj Kundra's anticipatory bail plea application in the 2020 cyber
cell porn film racket case.
Kundra was earlier arrested in
July in another case that was being investigated by the
Mumbai Crime Branch. He got bail in that case in September.
Kundra in his documents, filed by advocates Prashant P Patil and Swapnil
Ambure, has stated that the only allegation of the
prosecution against the businessman is with respect to alleged
personal videos of actors Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey, who are co-accused
in the case.
Kundra said that the videos may be erotic but do not involve any physical
sexual activity or both people engaged in sexual relations.
